Welcome to AudiPro Audiology Clinic! We are a hearing healthcare clinic
that offers a wide range of services related to ears and hearing including
hearing testing, hearing aids prescription and fitting, tinnitus evaluation,
custom earplugs, hearing conservation and earwax removal. Our clinic is located in
Nobleton, Ontario and we have been serving the communities of
King Township, Caledon, Vaughan and Brampton since 2021. We are happy to announce that we
are open at our second location in
Scarborough, Ontario in collaboration with MediSprint Physiotherapy and Wellness.
AudiPro Audiology was founded as an online clinic in June 2020 to assess
and treat auditory processing disorders through virtual sessions. We opened
our first location for in-person clinical and hearing aids services in
Nobleton in August 2021, and later the Scarborough clinic in November 2023.
Our clinic's vision is to be the preferred and well-trusted hearing healthcare provider
in the community.
Our goal is to provide excellent and transparent personalized clinical care with
honesty and integrity. We are a family-owned and operated clinic and are not
associated with any third-party marketing or practice management group, which lets
us keep our heart and our work aligned with what matters most - your hearing health
and well-being. We aim to deliver services with the highest standards of clinical practice
and utmost professionalism. We keep our patients well informed and help them make the
best possible decisions to treat their hearing problems. We also respect and acknowledge
each individual patient's personal needs and conditions to offer treatment options and advice.
Lalsa S Perepa
Doctor of Audiology, M.Sc. Speech & Hearing
Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist, Reg. CASLPO
Lalsa Shilpa Perepa, Au.D. is a clinical audiologist and speech language pathologist,
and co-founder of AudiPro Audiology Clinic. Lalsa holds dual Bachelor's and Master's
degrees in both audiology and speech language pathology. She also holds a
clinical doctorate in Audiology (Au.D), along with the distinction of being one
of few licensed professionals in Ontario that hold dual registration in audiology and
speech language patholody with CASLPO.
Lalsa has over 14 years of experience in clinical audiology, adult and pediatric
hearing and speech testing, hearing aids, tinnitus management, and other
hearing-related services. She is a certified, trained provider for the assessment and
intervention of auditory processing disorders
and has been providing APD services to both children and adults in Ontario for
the past four years. Lalsa's dedication to auditory processing work is reflected
in her approach to develop targeted therapy routines to address each
individual's processing difficulties.
Lalsa's professional experience and background in audiology and speech language
pathology allows her to treat hearing problems with a multi-dimensional
approach based on the relation between speech, hearing and brain functioning.
Her goal in clinical practice is to help identify hearing problems in patients
very early and find the right solution to reduce slow handicapping
effects of hearing loss and other hearing-related difficulties.
Lalsa wishes to be an easily approachable professional who supports her
patients by providing the right guidance, timely intervention and
appropriate recommendations and give them the time they need to
express themselves fully both during appointments and follow-up consultations.
Work Experience - Audiology and Speech Language Pathology
Lalsa started her professional career as an audiologist and speech pathologist
in 2010. As part of her Bachelor's curriculum practice as a student clinician, Lalsa
accumulated over 2000 clinical hours working in-house at the college clinic. She
worked as an intern for six months at the neurology department and memory clinic
in a rural town in India for a smile train program for paediatrics population
with cleft lip and palate in the NICU ward. Lalsa later worked part-time at a
private clinic where she conducted electrophysiological and vestibular testing on
adult patients. She completed an additional 600 hours of clinical work
in both audiology and speech therapy as a student clinician at a hospital,
dyslexia clinic and school for children with special needs.
After finishing her Master's program, Lalsa worked for one and a half years in India
as an audiologist and speech language pathologist a private clinic as well as an
ENT hospital in partnership with the Otolaryngologist to serve hearing and speech needs
of patients. She also worked extensively to provide voice therapy as part of her
speech pathology practice, while simultaneously working at the Dyslexia Association of
Andhra Pradesh (now known as Dyslexia association of Telangana).
She operated her own private speech therapy clinic prior to moving to Canada.
In Canada, Lalsa started working as an Audiologist at a private hearing aid
clinic and an ENT clinic in 2015. In 2017, he worked as part of a mobile clinic
team providing outreach hearing aid services in various areas of Toronto.
She later worked in a private practice in Orillia, Ontario from 2018 to 2020.
It was around this time that Lalsa found her niche in treating auditory processing
disorders, a service offered very selectively by hearing clinics worldwide. She
is currently working with children and adults with APD, as well as actively
developing new test materials and therapy delivery techniques to help people
with auditory processing disorders all over Ontario.
Dinesh Ayyala
Ph.D., Civil Engineering
Co-Founder and Manager
Dinesh Ayyala is co-founder and owner of AudiPro Audiology, and has been instrumental
in establishing the clinic and managing operations together with Lalsa.
His responsibilties include administration, technology setup,
website development and maintenance, marketing, and developing and implementing
procedural policies to support the clinic's vision to be a friendly,
community-based hearing healthcare provider.
Dinesh is also an independent software developer who is actively involved in
developing solutions to improve APD practice for clinicians all over the world.
He is the lead developer of the
APD test software that is currently used by many clinicians worldwide for
auditory processing assessment. It is his aim to develop applications to support
audiological work that can simplify, improve efficiency and promote clinician and
patient engagement in the clinical process of treating hearing problems.
